Dreaded Love
This video is dedicated to one of my favorite natural hair styles called locks aka dreadlocks!! Althogh, there is a religious connotation to the origin and purpose of dreadlocks, I feel as though many people can appreciate the natural designs and formations that “kinky” hair can intertwine into all by its self. I love locs on anyone.
Anyway, I don’t want to undermine the fact that locking your hair can be spiritual, creative,deep and other fundamental reasons for getting them, but I hope to convey the beauty I see in dreads.

The project took an unexpected turn and I’m having to end it early, because my dread was basically ruined. The video is extra long, but the most important parts are probably the first 3-4 minutes, and the final one minute. The rest of it is just me following the rules, and documenting it all.
