Dreadlocks, done Naturally! 3 1/2 Month Progress!

August 25, 2009 By: admin Category: making dreadlocks

First, I’d like to say that you should check out DREADHATS.COM, they are a new company selling hats for people like me that need a tam or two, considering they are hard to find in stores anyway! Go for it!

Just in case you didn’t notice, this video was posted on September 29, 2007. I have a new video of what my hair looks like now. Type in the following title in your search bar… “Anticipate! Month Number 8! Dreadlock Mania”

For ANY of your questions, visit the following website:
http://www.knottylocks.tk or http://com3.runboard.com/bknottydread…

1. Point number one says, “never comb, enough said.”

2. Keep’ em clean kids. http://www.drbronner.com

3. Wash 1-3 times a week, and you should be good.

4. After washing, dry it the best you can by pressing the towel to your head until you get it as dry as you can that way. THEN, keep on drying it by squeezing the sections of hair with a towel until those sections are dry. Keep on doing this, then review! You cannot stress enough on making sure your hair gets dry.

5. Invest in some beanies, berets, tams, whatever works for you. You will want to keep your hair from blowing in the wind too much/weather/elements/flying pin-weasels/people who want to touch it because they think you’re a petting zoo…which leads into the next number.

6. After a few years, all your dread-anxieties will fade away, because you’ll be glad you waited for your hair to lock up instead of forcing it into something it does not know how to do, so it has to slowly adjust itself into the new form you are trying to work into: The Dread.

Happy Knottyness!
