My Dread Lock

The fist of 3 videos to set the record straight about dreadlocks and dreadlock maintenance regarding dread wax. This video explains how dread wax works and goes over a few common misconceptions. I also mention my bias as someone who has used wax to start two great sets of my own dreads and who has spent the last 10 years helping hundreds of people start world class dreadlocks. Basically I brag on myself a bit so people will know that I know my stuff

The project took an unexpected turn and I’m having to end it early, because my dread was basically ruined. The video is extra long, but the most important parts are probably the first 3-4 minutes, and the final one minute. The rest of it is just me following the rules, and documenting it all.

I do plan on trying this out again in the near future, with darker colored hair. the wax blends with the dread color so you don’t really get the full effect in the video.
