This is my 3 month update of having dreadlocks. I have tried to answer some of the questions people keep asking me in the video.

If you have more questions feel free to make a comment, or do a search for “knotty locks forum” – they will help you out with whaever questions you have about dreadlocks.

Do not use WAX – it is a CON from the dread companies – DreadHeadHQ and Knottyboy. It is not needed – worse, it will ruin your hair, your hair needs to be loose to dread together, wax will restrict the movement, and it will stay in your dreads, and even cause mold and damage to them.

Making dreadlocks with metal comb and crochet hook. No wax and other sh*t.

Note that we haven’t finished the top of the dread in this video (so it looks like cow’s tail ), but it’s same as with other parts of the dread – just fix it with crochet hook and it’ll look nice.
