I want to get dreads but I’m not sure it would work with my hair, and I don’t want to show up at the place and have them turn me away!! 
PLZ HELP! Also, could i still take showers and wash my hair?!

If you mean you are caucasian or some other race with very straight hair, yes you can do it. I’ve seen many white people with dreadlocks.
Why would you want to get them? I’m black and I think they’re disgusting.
