This video is dedicated to one of my favorite natural hair styles called locks aka dreadlocks!! Althogh, there is a religious connotation to the origin and purpose of dreadlocks, I feel as though many people can appreciate the natural designs and formations that “kinky” hair can intertwine into all by its self. I love locs on anyone.
Anyway, I don’t want to undermine the fact that locking your hair can be spiritual, creative,deep and other fundamental reasons for getting them, but I hope to convey the beauty I see in dreads.

How to do “The Dreadhawk.”
Attention: Turn up the volume and beware of constant stuttering and “um”s and “uh”s. (If you can’t tell, i’m losing my youtube virginity in this video.)
