Can someone tell me a simple dreadlock maitanace routine?
what inexpensive products work well on dread?
eeeewww… grease? yuck.
Actually, caring for dreads is easy and simple- first, keep them CLEAN- I personally love to use Dr.Bronners castille soap- peppermint is the best. It makes your hair tingle and your dreads smell clean and great. wash a couple times a week in the summer heat and once a week or so in the winter. because washing the dreads too much can be unpleasant- many people keep their dreads wrapped to keep dirt and dust out of them. Next, leave them alone. Split them if they start to grow together if you want them separated- or else leave them alone if you want one big fatty knappy dread( I personally dont really like these but its up to you) – next- nothing. just keep them really really clean. thats the best thing you can do. and it feels frickin AWESOME to scratch your head really really good before you wash. I have had dreads for years and years and years now and they are beautiful and long and healthy. and clean.

Where can I find a Boise State Dreadlock Knit Hat to buy online?
I don’t know if anyone has seen these hats but they are like a beenie hat that has multi colored strands of material coming out from them.
I have seen hats like these for NFL teams, but I cannot find a Boise State hat.
Can someone provide me a link for a site where I can buy a Dreadlock Knit hat for Boise State?

Nope, it won’t.

How much length do you loose off your hair when you dreadlock it?
When you dreadlock your hair, how much length goes away because it is all locked up?
If you have curly hair, will the amount of length taken off be from the total amount of hair your have or from the length it is all curled up?
In other words, say your hair is 8 inches long when it’s wet/straight, but only 6 inches when it is dry and curly. Say you loose 2 inches when you dread your hair. Would you end up with 6 inches of dreads or 4 inches?
i guess it depends how tightly you do it

it depends how you make them, some people backcomb to for the dread, and they loose probably and inch maybe two of length, a some people just rub the hair in between their palms and you don’t loose any length with that method (though it takes longer for the dread to form that way).
Okay, another dreadlock question, do you think dreads look good on white girls?
Kinda weird, I know, but a lot of times you don’t see white women with them, or I haven’t at least. Would they look good on a woman with no distinct ethnicity?
:p
I don’t think you could find this question negative or racist but if you do I swear I’m just trying to decide rather or not to get them.
Yes, they do.
Clean, well-maintained dreads look great on anyone!
does anyone know where to purchase synthetic dreadlock extensions?
I would like to find somewhere to purchase them for a cheap price, any suggestions?
thanks
I don’t know if you like or use Ebay, but Ebay does have them. they can be kind of expensive though.
