My Dread Lock

Riiighttt, i brought myself some of the beezz wax and a finee combbb was wondering what else do i need and coudl any one direct me to some websites of creatign dreadlocks

No don’t go to a salon,
if anything throw the wax away to, and just use the comb
or throw that away and twist&Rip your hair instead,

it recommends minimal maintenance, but in light of all the bad information new methods (most of which are actually harmful to your hair and your locks lifespan) but it is in the best interest of locks that last a much longer lifetime (i.e people who lock their hair as a lifestyle and not as vainly as most)

no matter what your reasons for dreading are, I think it’d be in your best interest to just look around a bit,

I was wondering if you get dreads from backcombing do you have to backcomb every time you want to fix them up or can you twist your hair? Second how often should you wax your dreads?

no you should never have to back comb again,
i only did once for one that was straight hair half-way out,

also never wax again, after trying it for months, I realize how harmful it was to my hair, if you stop now you may be able to get it all out within the year.

also unless your hair is like african texture, you should never twist your locks,

you can use pure aloe vera gel to smooth over your hair tho.

I just dreaded my hair 3 or 4 days ago. i used the back combing method, i didn’t even use wax i used this putty stuff and hardly any of it just added some to de frizz it a bit. Now though i have no idea how to maintain them I roll them everyday and do the circular motion to tighten the roots, but i dontknow if thats all i should be doing or if i should buy all the dread head products they have for tightening and alll that. Anyone have any idea how to maintain newly formed dreads? Could i just leave them be and not put any wax or anything in them for now on ? Are you supposed to wax them everyday and roll them everyday? some one please help

Your hair will dred on its own if you minimize how much you touch it. You should only touch it to pull them apart if they start attaching themselves to other locs.
