my natural neglect dreadlocks turned 20 years old 2 days ago (about) i do nearly no maintenance only seperating and havent done even that in 2 yewars so have alot of new congo dreads

No don’t go to a salon,
if anything throw the wax away to, and just use the comb
or throw that away and twist&Rip your hair instead,

if you want a site with lots of people with dreadlocks (including look up this site’s creator SoaringEagle whos locks are over 20years old) visit dreadlockssite.com

it recommends minimal maintenance, but in light of all the bad information new methods (most of which are actually harmful to your hair and your locks lifespan) but it is in the best interest of locks that last a much longer lifetime (i.e people who lock their hair as a lifestyle and not as vainly as most)

no matter what your reasons for dreading are, I think it’d be in your best interest to just look around a bit,
